Enrollment into our program is required prior to attending.

The first step in the process is to call Mary's Place at 860-688-9621 and speak with our executive director. We want to answer any questions you have and to make sure our program is the best fit. We will also gather some basic information.

 

Children's & Teen group: Once we have spoken to the parent/guardian and determined our program may be a good fit, a packet of information will be sent to you along with an application form for each child. Once the applications are returned to us, a "meet and greet" will be scheduled. The meet and greet is an important time for the child & parent/guardian to meet with our program director , volunteer facilitators and to get to know more about us. It is also a time where can learn more about you/your child and confirm our program is a good fit.

The meet and greet must take place before the child can begin attending our program.* 

Please note; Littles must be potty trained to participate in our in person groups*

Young Widows and Widowers: After we have spoken and you decide you would like to attend, we will add you to our list and you are welcome to attend our next scheduled meeting.

Participating families will be notified of changes via email, including any last minute cancellations due to inclement weather or emergencies.

Steps for Enrollment:

1. Telephone conversation with the parent/guardian

2. A packet of information including an application will be sent

3. Completed application(s), privacy and permission forms are returned to

Mary's Place for each child

4. We will reach out to you to schedule a meet and greet at the center

5. Meet and greet with parent/guardian and child in which the child participates

If all goes well during the meeting the child is welcome to join our next scheduled group.
